A solution is called. Does it match the line?
Every card has its own puzzle today, so you play the one in front of you and never somebody else’s. You can change it whenever you like.
Somebody has pushed their tiles out and called Mahjong on the line printed at the top. The line is shown the way a card prints it, in colors, with the words that go with it.
The color says which groups are the same suit and which are a different one. It never says which suit.
There may be a mistake in it. If you find it, tap that group and press Submit Error. If you think the hand is good, press It’s Mahjong. Some days it really is good.
The hand always looks right. That is the point: you have to read the line, not glance at the tiles.
You choose the card when the game opens, and it stays on that card. One puzzle a day on each card, so the others are there if you want them and out of your way if you do not.
You never need your own card beside you, because the line is printed for you.
Your streak counts the days you play, not the days you get it right. A wrong answer keeps it. Only a day you never opened breaks it.
Missed a day? You get two makeup days a month. Go back, play the day you missed, and your streak carries on.
Going away? Say so before you go and your streak holds for as long as you are gone. When you come back you have one week to play every day you missed. All of them. Play them and the streak is whole; let the week run out and the whole stretch goes.
