For the fan who wants her two great loves in one place.
West Wind Mahjong is the work of Anne Potter, a TCU alumna, and it makes officially licensed collegiate tiles for the fan who has always wanted her two great loves in one place: TCU, Texas A&M, Arkansas, and Auburn, whose fans gave the game the War Bam Eagle. The tiles are crisp white acrylic, painted with real care, and they arrive in a display box that earns its place on the shelf between game nights.
Potter built it out of her own longing for a set that spoke her language, and the community answered, most recently with a regional entrepreneurship prize. Prim's point was that a team set is built to be handled, shouted over and loved. Covet the fashion house sets, she wrote, but choose the one printed in the colors you would paint on your face come Saturday, and take it out of the box.
