The Alexandria Mahjong Club's first tournament, also called the Alexandria Mahjong Classic, takes place Sunday, October 25, at Cedar Knoll, 9030 Lucia Lane in Alexandria, Virginia, according to the Breast Cancer Collective's event page.
Registration runs from 10 to 11 a.m., play starts at 11, lunch is at noon, more rounds follow at 1 and 2 p.m., and awards are at 3 p.m., per the listing. Play follows NMJL rules and scoring on the 2026 card, and players bring their own 2026 card. The page says all sets and playing materials are provided and no tournament experience is required.
Proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer Collective, a nonprofit serving the Washington, D.C. area that works to make high quality breast health care accessible. The page did not list an entry fee and showed registration as open, so check the listing before you go.
