Both sessions of a mahjong fundraiser for the arts are full in Cotuit

Cotuit Center for the Arts lists its Play It Forward tournament on Saturday, November 7 as sold out, with a waitlist open.

Cotuit Center for the Arts on Cape Cod lists Play It Forward: A Mahjong Fundraiser for Saturday, November 7, with a morning session from 9:00 a.m. to noon and an afternoon session from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., according to the center's event page. Players could sign up for one session or both, at $30 per session.

The event uses NMJL rules, requires the 2026 NMJL card and previous mahjong experience, and is played in the center's gallery at 4404 Falmouth Road, per the listing. It includes door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, prizes for special hands, and light snacks.

The page now marks both sessions as sold out. Players can join the waitlist, or release a spot they cannot use, by calling the box office at 508-428-0669, extension 0. Proceeds support the center's creative programming and community work, and no refunds are issued because it is a fundraiser, the listing says.
