On the Card

A Camp Hill parks department puts the card in the price

Two four week beginner sessions at a park cabin this fall, and the listing says the fee includes the card.

Camp Hill Borough Parks and Recreation in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania lists American Mahjong 101 twice this fall, both at the Siebert Park Cabin and both from 6 to 8 p.m.

Session one runs Mondays on September 7, 14, 21 and 28. Session two runs Wednesdays on September 30 and October 7, 14 and 28. The listed instructor is Danielle Baumgardner, and registration is by phone through the Recreation Office.

The cost is listed as $115 for residents and $125 for non residents. The listing adds that the fee "Includes Mahjong Card."

Prim's opinion, not reported fact: most beginner listings quietly leave the card off and let a new player find the extra step later. Putting it inside the price is a small kindness that saves a first timer one confusing errand.
