For Beginners

Princeton's three week beginner class is already full

Princeton Public Library's Learn to Play American Mah Jongg series starts 3 November, and every session shows as full.

Princeton Public Library in New Jersey is running a three week Learn to Play American Mah Jongg series for adults in its Community Room at 65 Witherspoon Street, according to the library's event listing. The listing names Wendy Miller as the instructor.

The sessions are Tuesday 3 November, 10 a.m. to noon, then Tuesdays 10 and 17 November, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The library asks people to register only if they can attend all three sessions.

As of 26 October, each of the three session listings shows "This event is full," and no waitlist is mentioned. If you missed this one, ask your own library or community center about beginner classes. Many fill quickly this fall.
