The Mahjong Line

Tiles, mats, covers and a floating table

Where color does the design work

What they have done with color is design thinking.

In Letter 2 The Mahjong Line went west with the Ranch Line in Dusty Rose: bolo dragons, cowboy boots and horseshoes on dusty rose acrylic with custom inks, and Prim confessed she gasped. By Letter 9 she was describing their approach as design thinking, a set whose whole feeling shifts by color alone. She had played on one and reported that the game felt softer and warmer without losing any of the rigor of the tiles.

Their mats are where you go for personality, Letter 8 said, the mat you buy when you want your table to look like you. Letter 7 noted a lovely set of tile covers, Letter 10 their crisp white and true blue palettes for Memorial Day week, and in Letter 19 Prim could not resist their floating game table, with grooves cut for the tiles and holsters cut for your drink.
